cfg is empty

when i was going to play ac today in content manager it said race cancelled when i was going to start a race, and after that i went and checked if there was something missing. The only thing that i found out was that everything in the cfg folder was empty.
Anyone know the cause of this or where i can fix this?

Launching AC without content manager is the usual recovery for things in Documents folder.

yeah but right now when i tried to open ac without content manager it wouldnt start because templates in cfg is missing

Sound like it is time to have Steam repair AC:

• Open your Steam Library.
• Right-click the game, and then click Properties.
• Click the Local Files tab.
• Click Verify Integrity of Game Files to perform the repair installation.
• The validation process begins and any corrupt or missing files are reacquired.
