Thank you, glad you like it. Yes, this could very well be. But at first I do all the sub drivers and their liveries of that year.

JeroRacing updated Champ Car World Series 2003 with a new update entry:

Extra liveries added

Version 1.1 adds 5 substitution driver liveries to the pack.

1) Alex Yoong (Dale Coyne)
2) Joel Camathias (Dale Coine)
3) Brian Hertha (PKR)
4) Patrick Lemarie (PKR)
5) Mika Salo (PKR)

You need to activate them in the Custom AI File, if you wish to let them race as AI Drivers. Otherwise you can only select the liveries for your own car.

Great work.
Found 2 mistakes:
1. In your "cart_reynard_2ki_mercedes.xml", the spare drivers for PKR Racing have the team name "PK Racing". This typo leads to the effect that the Custom AI file walks amok, because the team names are "PKR Racing" there.
2. Joel Camathias is from Switzerland. In your custom file, he is from Brazil.

Version 1.2: extra Liveries

This update contains extra liveries for Sebastien Bourdais car. You need to manually install them, if you like to replace the standard black "Lilly" livery with the McDonalds or Cialis Version.

For some reason I can't see the 2003 skins in the gen 3 selection. i have the 200 version skins and there is not issue with them showing up..can you have both skin packs exist together so you can selet 2003 or 2000 when playing... and if you could clarify the manual installation methed. Nomally I just copy the User Data and Vehicles into the AMS2 main folder....any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance

You can't have two differing packs of skins operating at the same time. You must choose one over the other. You can have both packs of skin folders in game - if they are named differently - and swap between them with the XML file which controls the actual displayed skins. The XML file is included with most mods and sits outside the liveries folder.
If you go into the downloaded skins folders you'll see a series of skin folders relating to each car being overwritten. Each has an XML file attached. This will do the overwriting. If you drop the whole Vehicles folder into your AMS2 install, then you will overwrite the current liveries and lose the current XML file. If you want to keep the older skins then you need to do the following.

The path for the car skins is usually as follows:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Automobilista 2\Vehicles\Textures\CustomLiveries\Overrides\cart_reynard_2ki_ford
This is for the 2k Reynard Ford. In there will be the liveries folder and the XML file that points to the folder. You can move the current XML file into the liveries folder so as to keep it safe for reverting back later. Then, you can drop the new downloaded Reynard Ford liveries folder and the new XML file into the car's folder. You'll need to do this for every car folder you wish to overwrite.
