Change super truck default steering rotation?

I'm finding the default steering lock of 24 degrees too low, but upping it to 33 makes the steering too twitchy for the 450 degrees rotation. Is there any way to increase the default steering rotation?

changing the .veh file in a certain way lets you change it but it messes up online and causes a mismatch.
