If I may ask.. why do the screenshots always have Alfa GTA, when the car that is used is actually Alfa GTAM?

It would also be nice if the skinpack for Escort would be added.

I've tried multiple times to upload the escort skin pack on to the server but they just won't load. I asked the guy who created the pack and he doesn't understand the problem. Han is baffled too.

Happy to use a correct pic of the Alfa - do you have one?

Ahh, too bad about the skinpack.

I don't think I've ever raced with the GTAM, so I don't have a replay that I could use for a screenshot. And I'm now at work so I won't be able to create for taking an actual AC screenshot (similar like the GTA race at Thomson that you've used).

I've finally got the Escort skin pack to upload so you've got a nice set to pick from.
So Mika, I expect you to sign up now :)

Tech Note
The issue was with the naming of the 'British Airway 5' skin. It was called...

'British Airways _5'

Note the space between British and Airways and another space between Airways and _5.

The spaces in the naming was causing all subsequent skins to disappear when selecting a skin when registering - bug it the list generator I guess.

If you pick this skin then you need to rename the directory to remove both spaces i.e.

'British_Airways_5'

otherwise your car will be plain white.

Yesterday my rear tyres went from 100% to 74% in 9 laps. And you could really feel it and see it in the laptimes.
According to Pro Tyres medium grip would last until 26 laps, so that's at least pretty close to the end but not quite forever

I really have to test that, because I find it at least possible that I might not lose any time by refueling and getting new tyres during the mandatory stop. But I haven't tested pitstops yet, so we'll see.

Tyre change is the slowest strategy i believe but make the car easier to drive at the end so i would suggest a tyre change if you feel like you need the consistency. I believe it is 17L of fuel to match tyre change time.

It might be slower, but I'll have to test how long the tyre change really takes. Just having the consistency all the way to the finish might very well save me the time lost with tyre change.
There have been too many times I've decided to stick with the old tyres, and then end up losing way more time due to the errors made with bad grip.

I probably won't refuel though, except the mandatory amount. That way I can leave the decision regarding tyres to the race.

@carmar has kindly updated the skin pack so this problem is fixed
