Clubsport 2.5 compatibility

Can I pair the clubsport v2.5 base with the CSL elite wheel?

Thanks for your help. I did see this on the website yesterday but I just had to double check.. You never know if the site could have made a mistake or are misleading to get sales..

I will say however, fanatec doesnt seem like the type of company to create shenanigans.

Just gotta be sure before spending almost 1000 dollars, ya know.

Yes, it indeed does, I've had a CSW 2.5 and CSL wheel combo. It's actually rather nice as the wheel is very light.

Sorry to jump in but I have a CSL Elite wheelbase and after looking into DD have decided I can not afford it, would the Clubsport 2.5 base be a decent upgrade? I too would keep my P1 wheel.

From what im being told in my last couple of days worth of 'research' the clubsport 2.5 is the best you can get before going DD.
Also being told from people who have done this very swap that its quite a significant upgrade from the CSL elite.

That lightness, though, comes at the cost of less strength. Complaints about CSL wheels are often centered around how they flex.

I don't know were you're located (I'm in EU), but I have one CSL P1 Wheel in the box, used for 6 months.

Ended up getting the CSW base with the CSL elite and porsche wheels.. Already modified my pedals a bunch and not ready to spend any more money for the little bit of a upgrade itd be.
