Comp keeps on shutting down

Hi All

My computer keeps on shutting down when i play Assetto Corsa. The pattern has been very sporadic ... but seems to be happening more lately.

Each time I test whilst playing the temps (CPU / GPU) seem to be normal and as Murphy's law has it ... the issue doesn't occur when i'm trying to test. Once it has "died" and I reboot the temps are around CPU 41c to 70c / GPU 41c. These figures are pretty much the same as when I am testing and its happy.

Im on this version of CM ... but it has also crashed when i go in the old school way (ie: not through CM)

I guess my next step is to stress test the system or maybe reset the BIOS ?? .. but just wanted to get anyone's feedback in regards to whether if it may be the software or hardware ?

TIA

Shot in the dark here but, power supply going bad?

Might be .. the second hand parts are CPU / GPU / PSU

I don't think its the GPU as that was working fine before I got a new CPU / PSU

But I got those two at the same time ... so dunno what it could be ?

I might try the PSU route first as I have access to another one.
