For anyone who seriously wants has to know, go read the SFX thread, 300+ pages of info and the prices of parts are easy to find, add some for the EMI filter / profile frame for the controllers / arduino breakout board and then you can have a good guesstimate. I have a good idea how much I spent, but strangely I dont feel like digging out the invoices and totalling it when the whole idea has gone tits up making me ill.

If it's any help I think my basic material costs were around £1,600. But add to that the extensive time spent sourcing/dealing with suppliers/ordering/paying import duty/researching/assembling/building/testing, as well as costs for specialist tools, lubricants etc etc.
If anyone wants to buy a pre-built and tested system for an easy and risk-free experience then all that needs factoring in.

If that would be around Latvia I would pay up to 2k or there about euros for sfx-100, since that is an expensive hobby of mine, planed to build one but that would be closer to the end of the year (or buy)
