Constant pitlane audio issue

Hoping someone on here can tell me how to fix this. For a while now, i've had this issue in game where I leave pits only to have the pitlane background noises chase me around the entire circuit. Wherever i am on track, I can hear the sound of pitlane like i was still there. Anyone else ever encounter this? I've had rf2 for years and never seen this before.
