content manager wont load into multiplayer, ac client does

so basically my friend got assetto corsa, and i made him download content manager and everything

when playing singleplayer its fine, but when he tries to join a multiplayer server it crash and says "can't connect to remote server"

we tried it on the regular assetto corsa client and it works fine tho
