Today's new Feature, the Fractal Torrent (non-RGB) w/dark tinted glass.
I just finished transplanting my daily driver into it to take it for a spin. Eventually this will house the new dedicated Sim PC. This should keep me sane for at least a few months while I wait for GPU market to stabilize (plus more releases) and the CPU I want to be available. Let me know if you have any questions about the case.
Pros (in my opinion):
- Massive 180mm fans x2, 140mm fans x3
- Spacious inside
- Acceptable cable management
- 2x USB 3.0 and 1x USB C (3.1 Gen 2)
- GPU support bracket included
Cons (in my opinion):
- no HDD LED (damnit Fractal! why are you doing this to me again?)
- Drive cages are mounted flat (back of mobo tray) and can't use SATA cables with 90º connectors since there is zero clearance for them
- Tempered glass on BOTH sides, but you can't invert the motherboard tray
- no cup holder!
And a special runner up for my TrueNas server:
This requires a x4 pcie slot.
