Csr elite brake pedal lubrication

Hi
I just got my self second hand csr elite pedals but the brake is not very smooth , can I use WD40 for lubrication? If not what should I use ?

WD40 is a terrible lubricant but works ok to free sticking parts. Most dry film lubricants are far superior.

Lithium grease is what Fanatec recommends.
