CU34G2X or C49HG90 (More fov or more resolution)

Hello,

I am running a 32 monitor with 2560x1440 res with a 5700 XT.

I woul like to get more fov to increase the immersion.

So with my graphics card i could go for a CU34G2X 34 wide or C49HG90 that gives me much more fov but paying the price on the resolution.

I know there is the C49RG90 but with a 5700 XT i dont know if i need to downgrade settings to run at good fps.

What advice do you have?

I recently got a 49" Ultrawide (ASUS) with 3840x1080 and I'm super happy with it for Simracing.
I was worried about the resolution as I used a 4K Screen for general gaming and I'm used to it.

If you only play racing games, then I would suggest the bigger screen.
If you need the display for work or play other games, then the better resolution is a big plus. Also the 49" is for my taste too big to work with it comfortably.

I run my 49” 5280 x 1440p t at a 100fps instead of 120fps but with g-sync activated
in AC, all setting at max, quite easily. The free sync takes care of frame rate variations which are inevitable, very well.
have my monitor only about 40cm away, resolution is important to me.
