Cube controls rim button issue

Fellow simracers, a friend has an issue with his GT Pro OMP Wireless rim. 2nd rim with the following issue (1st had issue with mags in a shifter too, refunded/new rim from Demon Tweaks).

Green buttons work, red don't, anyone had this and/or found a fix?
