Hello,
I am looking for a movable stand to use for both my tele working and sim racing activities.
I have some spare 80/20 parts so the cheapest solution would be to buy the additional profiles and take this way.
Some ready solutions with wheels and powder coated metal parts are also very nice.
But my main goal is to be able to easily move monitor position up and down.
Cause when I finish working I will have to move the stand(thanks to the wheels) to my rig. But also alter it's height.
So I thought that my best bet would be something like the following:
Height and width adjustable+movable.
And my plan is to mount one(or two) 40x80 profile horizontally by using the existing holes(normally there for wooden table/desktop mounting)
And then start building my stand on this horizontal aluminum bar(s).
A solution like this will cost me around 200euros.
Same cost as next level racing stand, but I will also have a crank for quick monitor height adjustment.
Does anybody tried something similar?
Do you think is technically possible?
Any tips/suggestions?
Thanks
