custom skins preview?

Is there anyway to see custom skins previews when choosing a vehicle. I only see rFactor2 logo in the preview pic but would be nice to see the correct skin.
Heres example what i mean

As a add-on in your \rFactor2\\UserData\Player\Settings\BMW_M8_GTE_2018
No! Never has and possibly never will.
The new UI may change this if it ever gets done.

Ok thanks for the reply. i wasn't sure if i was doing something wrong when adding new skins

You can see the car if you press the "Tuning" tab, but that might not be what you are asking?
