Cutting and 3rd Party tracks

I was wondering if the track-cutting rule in the game calculates the cut off point on 3rd party tracks or is it adjusted in the track files?
Some tracks that were downloaded have an insane track-cut rule. You just touch one wheel on the curb and get a warning for cutting the track. A number of tracks do this.
Can it be adjusted for online racing by any chance?

Modders would have to adjust their tracks to work with the new cutting rule.
IMO that's one of the reasons why we get only so few mods for AMS - it's still under heavy development and modders can't be sure if their work still works with the next update or not.

The new anti cut just requires AIWs to be correctly configured with regards to corridors saying what is legal and what is not. If people haven't done that properly then there's not a great deal we can do
