Recently found DashMeterPro for Iracing and Rfactor, which allows live data display on your Iphone or Android phone. Does anyone know of a similar application for Richard Burns? If none exists, maybe a future project for WorkerBee?

iDisplay and Sim Monitor can be used to do this. It's a bit fiddly though.
RBR GAUGES Beta 2 was released yesterday. Test it and post your comments .
I couldn't get this to work. Gauge_server.dll gets renamed to Gauge_server.no.
Can you make a photo of how it looks on your device? I am testing on an HTC Wildfire S (Android 2.3.3) and a 9.7" tablet (4.0.1). On my test systems all seems to work great. Thanks for a great app.
It works very well and is really fun to use
But I do not get to everything on the screen for my Samsung Galaxy S III??
The new analog gauge,(Type 2) I can not see. Speed, Boost, wather and time
when I turn my phone horizontally?????
sorry for my bad English
I assume you're testing it via RSCenter. So rename the file back to .dll and start RBR from the original RichardBurnsRally_SSE.exe. Good luck!

Port 8673 is not assigned to any app in no known to me port database. Checked it before selecting this number.
Look here: http://ports.my-addr.com/tcp_port-udp_port-application-and-description.php?port=8673
Thanks for the tip but I work with low level networking on a daily basis .
Port numbers are assigned in various ways, based on three ranges: System
Ports (0-1023), User Ports (1024-49151), and the Dynamic and/or Private
Ports (49152-65535); the difference uses of these ranges is described in
[RFC6335]. System Ports are assigned by IETF
process for standards-track protocols, as per [RFC6335]. User Ports
are assigned by IANA using the "Expert Review" process, as per
[RFC6335]. Dynamic Ports are not assigned.
The registration procedures for service names and port numbers are
described in [RFC6335].
Assigned ports both System and User ports SHOULD NOT be used without
or prior to IANA registration.
Yep, same thing running as administrator.Tried to run RBR as administrator? It seems that the OS does not allow the plugin to create a socket for some reason.
