DDR4 3600Mhz RAM only showing up as 1799.7Mhz

Hi all, I have my rig running with a Gigabyte Z370M DS3H mobo, and some 3600Mhz Corsair RAM, which initially shoed up on CPUID as working at 1333Mhz. I went into the BIOS and activated XMP, where it shows the 3600Mhz figure, but in Windows it still only shows up as 1799.7Mhz - see screenshot below.

Is this correct? If not, what have I failed to do?

Cheers

I think this is OK as the RAM operates in Dual channel mode to give you the effective speed eg. 2 x 1800Mhz = 3600Mhz.

You should have your ram sticks probably in slot 1 and 3 for dual channel operation, not usually next to each other. check the manual.

Just to clarify: DDR will also show half the frequency with only 1 stick or when in incorrect dual channel configurations. It's in the name as Rob said. Nothing to do with using dual channel or not.
