Decreased fps in GTr2

A few days ago the FPS in both GTL and GTR dropped by about half, from 180 to about 90. I have checked the affinity settings and looked at my nVidia setting but I can't find a clue. I have an nVidia GTX 1050 i , i7 CPU (old) Acer 27 in. Windows 10

Solved. It didn't like the resolution I was using.

What resolution caused the problem? What resolution fixed it?

Should it be the DSR settings ? that's what I guessed at first sight.

resolution cause was 3325 x 1871
resolution fix was 2103 x 1183
