Delayed track violation messages

Hopefully this has not be mentioned in another thread, but I noticed that in ACC the track violations can experience a lengthy delay before it shows on the screen. Does anyone else notice this, and does it bother them? It is distracting to think you took a good route through a chicane, and the message doesn't pop up until you are already into another corner.

I think it works out your overall time gain/loss in that particular micro sector. If your faster you'll get the warning, but that sector maybe just before the next corner. Hence the delay... I believe!
