Demo vs. current sim?

How well does the demo on Steam reflect the current state of the game? It seems to look a lot better on recent eSport events. Thanks!

Few years ago when I tried demo there were 3 vehicles in it if I'm not mistaken.
Physics is the same as in full game.
You won't find cars from Virtual Le Mans in demo so no comparison there.

The biggest problem we have found recently is the demo no longer prepares a user for the full rF2 experience. We've had several people run the demo with very limited hardware and then buy the full program but then are not able to get the full program to run/load. S397 NEEDS to update the printed minimum specs AND update the demo so that if a user can get the demo to run, he should be able to use the full program.
