F1 2013 Did codemaster's encrypt the 80s and 90s cars to prevent Senna mod?

I don't understand why Codemaster's would encrypt the classic content. Do you think its because of senna mods?

No ..... just to stop Standard Edition users and others getting hold of 90's DLC for free.

I think you can mod the 80's stuff as they are normal pssg's etc. as far as I know. (I could be wrong)

Nope you're correct.

It's the 90's stuff that's buggered.

But I think we all kinda expected that anyway.....well I did anyhow.

They done it with the DLC on Grid 2....so you could just see it coming.

Very logical as this is DLC that not everybody purchased. Good decision of CM.

Although seeing the little innovation of the game over the years the classic content should have been all available in the base game imo.
