Disabling dash instruments / view

Is there any way of selectively disabling what instruments are visible in the in-car view? I have made my own physical dash with a tacho and shift light, and so for example the F312T4 mod, all I want to see is the inside of the car without any instruments, but still be able to see the windscreen, mirrors etc.

Is it possible car by car?
