DIY 80/20 sim rig, need some advice

Hello simracers. I am planning on building an 80/20 aluminum sim rig. I currently have a g27 but i will upgrade to accuforce v2, OSW small MiGe or DD2 fanatec.

I live in Argentina where its very hard to find 40120, the biggest i can find is 4080 aluminun profiles so I came up with some "designs" (copied from gt1 evo from simlab). I really want the sturdiest cockpit with cero flex. Do you thinks any of this would work, which one would you say is the best?

Here are some of my ideas all in 40 series.
*I have triple screens but this will be mounted on a separate screens stand, not in the same chasis as the wheel and pedals.

Also I open to other ideas. Thanks!

Hi I have a SimLabs GT1. I can say with some confidence that all your designs would be zero flex. Design 3 looks over kill, even for DD. My rig has a horizontal bar for the gear shift with no vertical support and I can literally stand on it. I can jump on the pedal 'deck' bars with absolutely no movement in the rig.

Once assembled it's weight is surprising.

You could likely go for any but I'd just build c1 and see how you go.

I would love to copy exacly the gt1 but I cant find 40x120 here. I was scared that the c2 (copy of the gt1 evo of simlab) wouldn´t be enough for DD, but if you are pretty sure it will have zero flex, I might start with the c2 and in the worst case scenario add the 4040 profiles to make it more sturdy (just like the c1)

just make sure and get plenty of those triangular connectors - you'll need two on each right-angle - above and below. My gear shift (and actually my wheel uprights) are bolted to a spacer plate, then the plate is bolted to the profile it meets. I think your plan is sound though - good luck with it !

I absolutely love my GT1.
