Diy sim rig

Just thought I would show you my sim rig. Built yesterday out of a discarded Ikea tv stand and some slats from an old bunk bed from the skips. It is work in progress as it still has to fold further down. Also have to think about monitor and cup holder. Seat was from a Toyota celica and is leather, £25 from scrap yard. That is all I had to pay for to build this. All the round bits are easy to make knobs to tighten the hinge points. I have lots of build pictures if any one wants them.

Okay the basic rig design is finished. It folds nicely and I have the monitor located. The pedal, wheel and monitor all slide independently so you should be able to accommodate anyone. Especially if you leave the seat runners on. The monitor obviously has to come of but the support acts as a stand so you do not have to faf about just lift it off and put it back on your desk.
Just tried it out properly and feels good. I will do small video soon and eventually some plans.
