Do the steam intall of GSCex allows lan multi gaming?

Hello, I have ordered the digital instal version of great GSCex and want to know if the steam version allows lan/multiplayer gaming. I ask this because when I was playing another sim racing game (race 07/GTR evo) and move from dvd intall to steam install, I loose the Lan option. Does steamed GSCex keep this option?

The Steam version is exactly the same as the non-Steam version although it should be noted that at the moment the dedicated server for multiplayer doesn't work on Steam (they're working on it, I believe).
