Cars Does anyone know why Paddle-shifted mod cars sometimes don't work right?

I have an issue where some paddle shifted mod cars just default back to H-shifter instead. I look in the files and everything looks right. What could be the issue? I'm not super keen on modding but I did some digging and came up empty on this. Is there some setting I'm missing in Content Manager? Thanks in advance.

That file seems incomplete.
Do you have any other paddle shifted car mods that work correctly that you can look at?
I'm looking at a mod and it's drivetrain.ini has sections for:
[GEARBOX]
[CLUTCH]
[AUTOCLUTCH]
[UPSHIFT_PROFILE]
[DOWNSHIFT_PROFILE]
[AUTOBLIP]
[AUTO_SHIFTER]
which are missing from yours.
The car I'm looking at is not paddle shifted but I think some of the settings in these sections are needed to make that work.

EDIT:
just noticed the problem -
those sections are in the file but they're commented out.
They're buried behind a semicolon comment "; preload torque setting"
everything after that is lacking carriage returns.
If you go through and separate that mess out to separate lines for each setting, then it might fix it.
