Does assetto corsa support DirectX 12?

recently my game doesn't really start up and i had been trying to find the problem, I just want to know if it's associated with DirectX or not

the game is DX11.

so it doesn't support dx12?

I never did read that there was a DX12 mod so the game is still DX11 but while have an GPU that can run DX12.x or an OS thats supporting DX12.x the game is still in DX11 mode. And yes, you can run AC with the latest GPU and OS like RTX4070super and Win11.
If wanted, AC can also be forced to run DX10.

Reason for asking?

I was trying to start a race or a time trial bit it always kicks me back out to the menu, which leads me to thinking there's something up with my directx

Not all tracks support "Time Trail", if other modes work, it might be that.
But every track should work in practice or hotlap...

DX is probably not an issue, foremost if you can run other games or if its only with some (again) specific modes/tracks.
