I wonder if anyone knows how to do this with the game and, if it's not possible, if any mods have managed to add it to Assetto Corsa. The first one is a way to define a buttot or hotkey to engage neutral gear. I could program my script to use that hotkey with both paddles pressed at the same time (some cars do it that way). The second idea is to have more than 4 virtual desktops (the hud configurations available on the bottom of the menu on the right).
Does these mods exist: neutral gear hotkey and more virtual desktops?

Do you know whjere the data of the virtual desktops is stored? I mean the file with the information of the elements on each desktop and their positions?
EDIT: I've found it. C:\Users\*****\Documents\Assetto Corsa\cfg\acos.ini I've tried adding a new desktop there but it's not detected by the game

What, like you can just put a manual transmission straight into neutral from any gear? That's not how cars work!
I think many cars with paddle shifters go into neutral if you push both paddles at the same time, although I don't know if that car has to be stopped for that.
in the content manager mod, under settings>assettocorsa>controls>patch there's an option to set neutral as an input. but it doesnt seem to work properly and just locks the car in neutral.

You need Custom Shaders Patch, and it might be a paid feature, so if you're using the free version of Content Manager, it may not be available to you. It's absolutely worth the few Euros it costs btw.
