Lovely gesture, and I'm sure it brightened up the poor kid's final weeks (he died a few weeks after that, in June 2019).
However, Lewis didn't donate the car to him - it was just brought to his home for him to see.

Yes it was just for show. It would take a lot of skill and talent to drive it. You could sell it to a person in the clubman racing scene and cash the money in if it was a gift.
