Got a 4gig patch this morning then a 1.6 gig one, was the 4gig pikes peak and the 1.6 gig the one to avoid?

I believe it was the 1.6gig download to avoid.
I had automatic update enabled and had to stop it as soon as I read the warning.

Oh dear, as soon as I start steam tonight I'm going to get a download starting :-( I hope I'm quick enough to stop it.

Well fudge. I already updated it, was messing around with R3E and its update and went ahead with this one.

Sounds like it doesn't matter unless you have started it, if the patch is there then uninstall and reinstall, avoiding the patch. Just did it myself.

Verified steam files after download and all seems good.
