I hope someone can help me, I've just jumped back into r3e with my oculus rift S to give it a try, and I'm getting what I can only describe double vision, the cars especially have like a blurry double vision to them, I've tried setting the launch parameters to -vr 2.0 but this still doesn't help
My spec is :-
i7 6700 o/c @ 4.6
Cooler Master masterliquid lite120
RTX 2080
32gb hyper x ddr4 2400
Monitor is Samsung 24"LC24RG50FQUXEN x3 (triple)
windows 10 64 bit

How do other games look in your Rift S? Just asking because double vision can be caused by your IPD being set incorrectly. It's software-based in the S rather than a physical setting on the headset itself (like the CV1), so you adjust it in the Oculus settings.

Thanks for the answers guys, my IPD is 63
Other games look spot on, no problems just R3E, I have set the world scale to 1.0 which now makes the world look right, but the double vision/ghosting is still there, and I have messed about with the IPD but it doesn't seem to make any difference. I've found that if I'm looking at the ingame menus (on track between practice and qualy and the race) and I move my head from side there's a bit of ghosting. It's starting to give me a headache which none of my other vr games do and as well as nearly all of the racing titles I also play a lot of fps.

That's really strange. I also have a Rift S and don't have any issues with R3E. IPD is 60. If it isn't that or the world scale setting, I honestly can't think of what else would cause it if your other games are all fine. :O_o:

I have it fixed, well almost :) I posted in the r3e forums and a very nice member helped me out (ndwthx1138, big thanks) he gave me a good few suggestions, which I followed and I also uninstalled and reinstalled the game, which helped. I also changed some of the settings. One of the things ndwthx1138 suggested I did was go into steamvr settings and change it into legacy mode which helped and I also turned off reflections, I still see a little ghosting but no-where near what it was, its now very playable :)
