Doubt related to immediate promotion (fast track)

I just received a wallet safety rating of 4.45 (Class D) playing from Mazda.
Shouldn't I have gotten the immediate promotion for being at safety rating of 4.45?

You must complete a minimum number of races in D-Class series (check your licence in your profile) to get promoted. I ran NiS (C Class) for a full year and I only ever got to B because I'd need to run a different series to fulfill the B/A class required races.

As mentioned above, once out of rookie you must complete the required amount of races plus have a safety rating of over 4.0 to get fast tracked to the next license.
If you complete your required races but safety rating is under 4.0 you'll have to wait till the end of the season for your promotion.

Participating in lots of time trials is also a good approach
