F1 2020 Dynamic time of day

Does F1 2020 feature time progression? I.e. does the sun position actually change during sessions?

I know in previous games it obviously sets in the Abu Dhabi race, but I can't tell if that's an isolated instance that is specifically animated for that track.

Racing in Australia where its in the late evening, but I can never tell if it's actually changing.

Pretty sure it starts dusk and ends night on a 100% Abu Dhabi race. I think they mentioned they don't have a full day/night cycle though which is why the lights are on at Bahrain during the day sessions.
