Joe Biden announced today that his government will be authorizing more intensive use of E85 gasoline in the U.S.. This means the base grades of gasoline can be up to 15% ethanol. It is very important to note that most vehicles on the road today will suffer damage to their emission controls, fuel delivery system and engine if they are not designed for high ethanol content fuels. If your vehicle is labeled as 'flex fuel' you are ok. If not you are strongly advised to use a higher grade of gasoline to escape the high ethanol content. This is even more important with regards to small engines including boats, quads, snowmobiles, chainsaws, grass trimmers, etc. CHECK YOUR MANUALS.
