In a statement to GamesIndustry.biz, an EA spokesperson said: "Today we announced internally an update to our racing portfolio. Following an evaluation of the next Project CARS title and its longer-term growth potential, we have made the decision to stop further development and investment for the franchise.

Maybe a late comment but remember dear children that Electronic Arts (aka Electronic ****) and CodeMasters (aka **** Masters) with great help of useless people from Sony (aka Woke Pony for the Payers) killed companies which create legendary racing games series like: Burnout, WRC, Motorstorm, Project Cars and many others.

I'm sorry but I must write it for my own sake using strong words.

There's much more like Evolution Studios for example (but it's a sin not only EA but also CM and Sony). Evolution made one of the best racing games in history IMHO and the team itself not change much when it comes to developers for all these years.
