Ecclestone to walk?

It sounds like the legendary Bernie Ecclestone's position as f1 leader is about to come to an end: -

"Bernie Ecclestone could leave his position as Formula 1 chief executive as soon as this week, a source close to the 86-year-old says.

The move would end Ecclestone's remarkable 40-year reign in the sport.

US giant Liberty Media is on the brink of completing its takeover of F1, which values the sport at $8bn (£6.5bn)".

It appears that the new owners of f1 want him out.
Quite likely that Ross Brawn will take over the role.
 
It is official now. News popped up on some minutes ago. Bernie got fired!
Wow.. It is like an era has ended today. I mean ok, he is a dinosaur and was very questionable in his decisions and stand points.
But still... I feel like I am going to miss him anyway. (Maybe because I am a traditionalist ;))
Bernie, all I can say is thanks for your efforts and enjoy life.
