F1 2021 Ego Dumper crash

Been getting this loads since buying 2021. Game runs fine then out the blue the engine crashes. Properly annoying and not a clue why. Had it a couple of times in the last week or so with 2020 also but only on launch when i press a button on my controller (been playing with xbox controller as hurt my shoulder so cant use the wheel). Making me consider requesting a refund tbh

Same it keeps crashing out of nowhere. I’d be in the middle of breaking point and then boom crash. Idk what’s wrong.

glad its not just me, gonna try delete my savegame file as seemed fine before i went near breaking point

I seem to have solved mine. Close any background programs (even steam app) run it from the desktop icon as administrator and disable steam ingame overlay and its running fine

F1 2021 Deluxe Edition on PC EGO Dumper has been crashing me out 6 times in 3 days

i am getting the same thing as well but deluxe edition and no has bothered ot help

ive fixed mine, pretty sure it was an issue with logitech ghub close it and run f1 as administrator from the desktop icon rather than having steam open and it runs perfectly

My worry was people had the same issue with f1 2020 and it never got fixed

Do you have logitech ghub installed for any controllers etc?

try a different usb port, as mad as it sounds it is another possible fix ive seen its really annoying they acknowledge the issue but do nothing to fix it

I have the same issue, just curious surely if i close (exit) ghub my wheel wont have the correct steering degrees and wont steer correctly?
