I've downloaded a mod but it basically doesn't load anything (car list, textures, upgrades etc.) and instead, it shows up this message. What should I do?

cmaps.mas is a default file in the vehicles folder, if it isn't there, or is corrupted, none of your cars will load.
Check the .gen file for this mod, near the top it should be calling "MASFile=cmaps.mas"; if the path is different, check if the mod has its own cmaps file and make sure that path points to it; otherwise try editing that line to the default and see if that works.

i'm having this exact problem with some modded maps on Stock Car Extreme, i dont know why
