Jump Start: = teleport to pits

Sorry, don't really understand the point of this. We've only got a handful of guys signed up for these races but now we want to add the possibility of having one of them sent to the pits at the start so there will be even fewer people on-track battling together? Seems counterproductive to encouraging close, fun racing to me.

Well im sure if guys just take it a little bit easier of the start nobody will get teleported. :)

But without enabling that option there's no need to worry about that and there's no possibility of having a portion of the field removed from competition before they've even crossed the start line. I understand it's more "realistic" but IMO it can't improve the racing in clubs in any way, it can only make it worse by having fewer cars battling on track. In a league race I'd be all for it but in club races where we're lucky to get 8-10 people I don't see the benefit of opening up the possibility of a percentage of the field being eliminated before the lights are even out. Not to mention it's probably going to encourage rage quitting. Club races are supposed to be for fun, not all out competition, and for me the fun is having my friends on track battling with me, not half a lap back trying to catch up from a simple mistake.

Anyway, just my two cents, I see no positives to adding this to club races, only negatives, but I won't say any more on the matter.

You know yourself as being ex staff all feed back is welcome :)
And hopefully the club will grow with Bobby and Speedracer at the helm after taking over the reigns for you and Lorenzo and you will soon be racing with more guys, so having some standard setting across the whole of AC, EU and US events will also allows guys to hop across the 2 if the wish without having to learn a different set of rules for each event..:)
That's the idea behind it..:)

And I agree with that overall concept, just not on this one particular topic because I don't see false starts bringing anything positive to the clubs. I used to really want false starts added to AC, it's a great feature for leagues where things are super srsly, but for fun club races I don't think it belongs. Not trying to bitch about it or anything, I'm just one of those weirdos who cares more about rubbing fenders and bumpers with my virtual mates than gaining every little advantage on my competitors, so the thought of some guys getting sent to the pits instead of battling with me through T1 makes me have a :(.

Ive already given the nod on this one:thumbsup: but never made the list:(...........Bobby:rolleyes::D

I'm easy with the teleport rule, take it or leave it, it does keep you on your toes at the start, luckily Ive never had a false start;)............slow reaction times help:D

@Rupe Wilson I have to agree with Brandon. Especially considering that there's the possibility of a drive through instead of a teleport to pits. I find this a huge contradiction. You say that club races are just for fun and then you punish a fair driver for a mistake ruining completely his race.
