Just fitted a sequential gear box with paddle shifts to my RS1600 this afternoon.

i think you have to blip the throttle if using paddle shifters.

i am always too busy trying to keep it pointing somewhere in the right direction, or just, if i am lucky
keeping it on the road to worry about blipping the throttle.

It's most certainly stick shift mate. You stay with your stick shifter, I'll be doing the same - as will most people that own a stick shifter.

You can put auto blip on

H shifter is the proper way, but many will use there paddles ...my 8 shifter is broken but I can and will use sequential shift ..use whatever you want
