Euro Truck Simulator 2: Scandinavia DLC out on May 7

SCS Software has new details for its Scandinavia DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2.

It looks like the long-awaited second expansion pack for the truck sim is just a month away.
This time SCS seems to have gone all-out on the art department, saying that the manpower involved in the creation of the new landscapes exceeds the one required for the base game.

I'd say a sharper focus on the landscapes is a good thing, especially since the vistas in the base ETS2 map were slightly samey, albeit still pleasant.Take a look at the teaser trailer and screenshots in the article and tell us if you think they've succeeded!

It does look pretty, but hopefully it won't put a strain on low-end PCs. On the contrary, SCS is still optimizing the game through new updates, and they "have improved framerate stability on low-end systems".
The public 1.17 beta should be out next week on Steam, to boot.

That depends on the definition you are using. In the broadest sense even Faroer Islands and Iceland are included in Scandinavia.

'Nordic-Countries' is prefered I would say, if you want to include those territories.
Scandinavia are the three kingdoms of Norway, Sweden and Denmark. That's the official definition. :) But let's not open a can of worms here. :D
