Event Loading Issue

I had not played RF2 for over a month. Yesterday i attempted to commence the screens as previously; Select Vehicle/ Select Track / Start.. In the past, the track map would appear and then load, then go to Drive.. then Start. However, after selecting both Vehicle and Track, the screen goes blank for about 30 seconds , then Drive Screen appears - upper left hand of screen shows - "Even Loading". which I went and got a cup of coffee , waited a further 10 minutes, still "Event Loading".

Is anyone else having similar issue?

I have since checked File Integrity - all OK. Any help would be appreciated.

standard troubleshoot is to rename your player.json file to back it up, restart rF2 and it will build a new one. (That is the simplest method) If that doesn't work, rename your User Data folder.

Many thank for your suggestions, unfortunately neither one fixed the problem

Edit: Ran Integrity check once again = 2 missing files. All good again. YAY!!
