Then I may just have found a file to help (... sorry if this is old news, but its new to me)
In your user profile directory (ie the same one that contains your .PLR file), there is a file called tempGarage.svm which it seems contains the last setup you were editing or using in game! :dance:
Just in case, the profile directory goes something like this
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\[steam name]\race 07\UserData\[profile name]
EDIT: pls note, I have not tested this theory fully, I literally just found it sat there with my last setup in it, but reckon its a fair bet :wink:
