Here is a smoother road surface for those having issues with wheel rattling in the evo triangle v1.2.
The mod contains a less bumpy road, along with the original smooth road from the previous version v1.1

Sadly still feels so repetitive and kills the immersion for me @LilSki do you have any posts on introducing randomness into road meshes?

Depends on what modeling program the noise was created in. If it was somehow RTB or 3DS Max I can't help. If it was blender I do have some generic displacement modifier noise settings I use as a base that I can post.

@LilSki is it part of "bad" conversions that roads are always so bumpy?
e.g. Sebring or Sonoma, even if I don't know them IRL, these conversions seem too bumpy and uneven.

Low poly conversion yes will cause the driving on a "staircase" feeling. Most info on that can be found here.

Sebring is crazy bumpy IRL, but that may or may not have anything to do with the bumps in the mod track.
