Join us Tuesday for a wild ride in the turbo era 1986 Formula one cars. Classic Hockenheim with its long, long straights is barely able to contain the 1400 horses of F1s all-time kings of mad power. Turn up the boost, and hang on tight as the scenery turns into a blur and the car tries to tie itself in knots and go in every direction at once. These cars are a real challenge, but well worth the effort of taming their ludicrous amounts of power.

Whether you are a rookie racer or a seasoned veteran our casual club races are for everyone and every skill level. We combine fun events with discord chatter and a warm welcome to all our premium members.

Hmm. that's odd. Make sure the \Textures\CustomLiveries\Overrides\formula_classic_g1m2 folder is present and correct and there's a xml file along side it:

I have to say these cars are something else. Can't get a decent lap in, they are so sensitive on the throttle! Are there any pointers on the setup?

Hey guys, added.

The boost comes in with a rush at the upper end of the rev range. it's adjustable in the pit setup menu. Senna used to stab at the throttle, on-off-on-off to build the boost up in the corners and overcome the turbo lag. Short shift in 1st& 2nd gears and make sure you are in a straight line when flooring it. Also, these have a boost button that's good for one application per lap. I hate this arcade feature as it was never on the real cars- they had a boost control knob in the car to turn the boost up/down, but really only used it to save fuel more than power up for an overtake. Anyway, it's there so use it on the long straights. you'll need about 355kph gearing if using the boost! Mech damage is off, but engine wear might still be happening so about 60% boost for the race. Also, there are 3 dry tyre compounds too!
