I tried your mod but I noticed two things "weird":
1) AI cars in qualifying are the same times of practice. Then in the race on soft tires are actually the times that they should do in qualifying. doing so absurdly short in qualifying times are higher than in the race.
2) after all the braking distance is unchanged and the AI cars brake at the same point.
