F1 2011 F1 2011 Game - Difficulty help me , please!

[h=1]F1 2011 Game - If you put the difficulty harder, does it make the AI/Computer set faster lap times?[/h]also, say for instance I set the difficulty to 'hard' but I change the 'driver assists' and it then says 'difficulty -- custom' because I've changed the 'driver assists' BUT will it still make the computer/AI set faster laps? I really want to know. Sorry, if I wordered it confusingly.Thanks.

I believe the speed of the AI cars depends entirely on the AI skill level, which can be set at the bottom of the difficulty options. Whatever changes you make to the assists will have no affect on the AI's pace.
