F1 2012 f1 2012 pc with original disk updating

Hi Guys,
Well the title pretty much says it all.

I purchased F1 2012 PC Version on cd from Europe.
I have been doing a lot of searching and can not find out how to add the patches.
I also purchased F1 2012 on steam, but I have built a dedicated computer for F1 2012 and BMS Falcon and would prefer not to put steam on that computer.

You have no choice. Patches are only delivered through steam. Once patches are applied, you can change steam to offline mode, then you can disconnect network.

Thanks kenken So does that mean dont even bother with the original cd ?

Yes. You need CD only at installation.
