Well I followed keith dixon 's instructions in the visor mod thread and here is the result in my game, I added Fanatec above the visor because thats what's on my custom helmet

Is this as simple as just dropping the right files in the F1 2012 folder? I can tell a difference in the menu but in race it looks the same

Well I use the Sweetfx mod from this thread and then you need to get this visor mod:

and this visor texture mod:

Then just edit the visor in Photoshop and follow the instructions from this thread or the visor thread

In the settings file you can adjust the lift gamma gain setting RGB_Gain , lowering it will take away some of the brightness, you could also play around with curves on the contrast side, but any changes will affect the brighness of the game as a whole

Yea just drop the files in the f1 2012 folder, to see the difference hit the scroll lock button to switch it on and off

Although tried now, surely it becomes dark and a color worsens

I decided to use it to 1.10 Tonemap　gamma
